Audis with "lit lids"; wiring hazard

Yep, if 'yer trunk lid has lights(ex:5k turbos, non-example, 5kS, because
those just have ugly black plastic.)

Contruction of the trunk lit support is two bent tubes; stuffed inside the
left side tube is the locking vacuum hose and the wiring for those lights.
The wiring is wrapped(like most of the wiring in the trunk) in black
tape(what I know as basically gaffer's tape.) The edge of the tube is
sharp, and all of the tape has been worn away.

I would recommend re-taping that small section and placing some electrical
tape over the rough spot.

Discovered while lying upside-down in my trunk trying to find a good spot
for mounting the CD changer. @#!$% Audi provided a few holes here and
there, but not aligned right for a Pioneer CD unit. I'm considering
mounting plywood to car then changer to plywood. Still puzzled about where
to route wires...
