Re: installing CD changer, wiring paths?

Brett:  Mount the changer under the rear deck using sheet metal screws 
and lock washers.  Route the control cable down the tranny tunnel on the 
pass. side.  Take it back to the metal that supports the rear seat.  
Route it towards the passenger door and under the rear seat.  There is a 
gap between the rear seat and wheel arch on both sides of the car.  Use a 
fish tape or hanger (tape it well) to pull the cable from the trunk 
through this hole (stick wire through hole, tape to cable, pull through). 
 Support cable under deck with cable ties.  Use plastic wire loom to 
protect against chafing anywhere you suspect rubbing.  Cable ties also 
help in strategic spots.  This method worked well for me in my '86 5k 
turbo.
