A4 2.8Q suspension question
hi all,
my wife's quattro avant has a "sports package". however, the car
still seems to be a little soft. i'm thinking of beefing up the
suspension to improve overall handling but at the same time not
too jarring for a ride in a wagon. i'm not taking her car to
driving schools, but i'd like it to be stiffer than it is now.
does anybody has any experience with any aftermarket suspension
setup in an A4 quattro that you can share?
i've spoken to this helpful gentleman at TAP. he told me that
an english company has finished testing a suspension setup (he
didn't tell me what springs and shocks this setup uses) on A4
quattros and it works very well. also, it's _easily_ adjustable
unlike the standard adjustable stuff like KONIs. the price is
about $1600 a set.
i've been looking at a combo of H&R springs + KONI adjustable
shocks (TAP sells the KONIs at least). does anyone have this setup?
JT motorsport also has this german product (KW-something-something,
a long deutsch word) which consists of KONI shocks and a spring
that i don't recognize. this costs about $1800 a set. does anyone
know/have this setup?
thanks in advance.
