Well thanks for all the replies, seems many advise no solder (as I was leaning
towards) but there seems to be an equal number who have successfully soldered
the wahrs back together. Thanks for all the replies...I'll make my choice when
I have it torn open and note the date. We'll see how long my repair lasts
there.
