Under the dash

While in the dash and playing with the A/C:

You could check your temp sensor intake fan for gunk, and re-lube it with a
contact lube/cleaner for electric motors.

I did general clean-up, too:  dust, dirt, leaves, etc.

Be very careful when replacing the screws, the alloy dash strips very
easily.

If new front speakers are in your future, along with wires, run them now. 
Same applies for an aux light (Hella XL's or fogs or driving) harness.  Cap
and label the wires for future reference.

The cruise control unit is back there, too.  If it didn't work, now's a
good time to run the checks.
