final word on heat

For those still following this thread...

Both temp sensors seem to check out OK.  The heater
"arm" is doing its job down in the heater box, opening
and closing.  The fresh air flap is in the right spot,
and removing the plastic piece Christian put in there did
not help the temps at all.  The heater core *seems*
OK, I flushed it/blew air through it last night.
I'm stumped.  So...

I give up :)  My mechanic gets it on Tues.
Thanks for the suggestions, and thank Audi for heated
seats.
