North-East/Albany Area get together

Hey folks,
I was thinking that since I now work for the dealer... and am an
enthusiast.. and have had tons of fun at Q-list/club events....... maybe I
should try to russel up some interest in a Capital District/North-East get
together.
Here is what I see... Friday night I gather up some interesting Q's
and make sure they are fueled and washed. One 1.8tq w/sport package, one A4
2.8q, one A6q, and one A8q. I put them in the garage over night to keep em
shiny.
You guys (and gals) show up on Saturday morning (preferred). We
spend a couple of hours checking out.. driving the Q's, etc. Maybe I could
even get one of the master tech's to give us a lesson. I'm not too sure on
that part though...
After we play.. we head over to a good brew-pub (I do know a few)
and ponder the mysteries of the rings. I'd swear not to give any sales-talk
(unless requested) or pressure to buy anything. We'll just check out what
Audi has been up to recently. Afterall.. I'm one of the GOOD guys..
Anybody interested in a get together? I spoke with my manager about
it and he said no problem but preferred it to be in the morning on Saturday
because the evening gets really busy with sales. I'm going to assume that
it will take at least 3 weeks to put this together. So when you respond,
make sure to include which Saturdays are best for you. My preliminary idea
is to put this together for the 28th. It'll take me that long to convince
one of the Techs that this will be a fun way to spend an hour on Saturday.
Bribery might be involved..
Perhaps we could even combine this event with a spirited
"kanc-run" type drive. I'd have to beg for the hours off though.. but it
might be worth it. Let me know if interested.. I'll compile a list of sorts
and we'll move from there.
Also, right up the street is a buddy of mine who specializes in
German cars and especially performance cars. The Calloway Cabriolet he's
been working on (forever) is quite sweet. I'm sure he'd be joining us.

Later.
