87 4000q driving in snow problems

Joe,
You have snow buildup on your wheels. I had this problem in my
Jeep all the time. I was a ski Instructor and Racer for many years and
would always have fresh snow to drive on as I went to the Condo on Friday
nights. I'd drive around all weekend up there, then leave, hit the
highway and the steering would shake. I'd get out, wipe snow out of my
fornt wheels and then go and I was fine.
Wet/packed snow that is half melted by heat from brakes is heavy.
CAn really throw off wheel balance. THe 5 spoke type wheels seem to be
most prone. Spoked wheels not as bad.
Anyhow, next time, just get out and look. Or fly over enough
bumps and corners and heat up the brakes enough that it leaves.
