Fwd: 87 4000q driving in snow problems

>When I drive my 87 4000csq in snow it runs great, but then when I get back
on the cement and drive at any speed over 20mph the steering wheel starts
to shutter??? like there is a wheel out of balance, this has happened twice
now, and both times have gone away after about 15-20 of driving,
unfortunately I have not been able to check and see if there is snow build
up in the fenders or something??

Joe:

There is a build up of snow and its occurring inside and outside your wheel
rims. The uneven and less than precise "balance weights made of snow"
cause your wheels to go out of balance. When you drive for 15-20 miles
after getting out of the snow, the packed in snow is melted or throw away
from the wheels and your wheels are back in balance.

Hope this helps
