pcv drain?
A friend of mine with a GTI was complaining to me this morning about the
wet pcv system in his car. I told him that it was very necessary for upper
cylinder lube, etc. He said something that his airbox has a drain at the
inlet for the pcv line. I know on the inside of our airboxes, theres a
channel that leads to a cap (it faces the e.m.). The cap I think had holes
in it and I've removed it before. Is this what he's talking about? Why do
we have a cap thing there? Also, how much of an effect does oil on the
sensor plate have?
