I've been following the what seat fits what thread, well sort of.

I have a  blue cloth Recaro to go in my blue leather 5ktq w/power seats.  I
had ordered the seat mount kit as in the application book.  And I assumed
it would "bolt in".  Hah!

So that  kit came today and it is not quite what I expected.   I'm guessing
that they assume I don't have power seats.

The bracket will fit the width of the two sliders for the rear mounts but
is setup with the center track to adjust front/rear position as in VW or a
non power Audi.

A power seat 5k has two mounting bolts on each front corner.

A non power 5k has the center channel/slider on the floor pan, saw that in
Bentley, that the center seat channel slides through.

So does anyone know if the piece I need on my floor pan to accept the
center channel bolt to the floor?  Is that center slider reciever a bolt on
part?  

I would guess the floor pan will accept either a power seat or a non power
seat and is setup for both.  So then I need to hit a junkyard, find a non
power seat, take all the hardware off the bottom AND the piece that bolts
to the floor.

Anyone scraping some non power seats who could check the floor of the car?

Wouldn't it be nice if I could bolt all the electric adjustments from the
power seat as a complete unit to the Recaro!  Ya' think?
