Alacantara saga

I ain't makin' no promises, and have no clue as to what
this Alacantra stuff is, BUT. . . there's a guy, from 
whom I was going to purchase a van (for buz) that sells
fabric for a variety of applications, including accord-
ing to him Audi.  It's his patented stuff that he sells 
to distributors.  Depending upon application, it's
made for stadium seats, OEM automotive seats, etc.
Saw his local distribution point, and the rolls I saw
looked a lot like auto seat cover material.

He's local here on Long Island, NY, but the stuff is now
made in Asia (where they don't care what they pump into
the atmosphere).

If anybody realllly wants me to check it out (if it's 
Alacantra), I will.  Send private email.
