Just an idea: 

I have been on an "old tools" mailing list where the first monday of
each month is designated "flea-market monday". Then and only then are
"for sale" messages allowed (individual or commercial). This kept the 
normal discussion to issues, and gave everyone a blast of neat things
to buy once a month.  The list also restricted posting of for-sale
messages to active participants and required that they be designated
with a particular phrase (I think it was "For Sale:") so that they 
could be easily sorted/filtered out for those who were not interested.

Would such a system be possible/useful on QUATTRO?
