I recently put Eibachs on my 5kTQ, along with Koni reds (left at the
factory setting.)  I'm not terribly impressed with the handling, but that's
another story.  I now have a clunking from the front left strut.  Turns out
the Eibach spring is banging the end (pigtail) of the spring into the first
coil when it's compressed.  This is highly annoying.  I called Eibach and
got zero help: they told me (for the first time) that they don't make quattro
springs, and since this is a quattro, they don't know, don't care, and don't
accept any liability.

Anyone else having this problem?  I know that lots of people are using
the Eibachs on 5kTQ/200Qs (and the 300 lbs. of a quattro system can't
make a significant difference).  After dealing with their customer service,
I'd never buy Eibach again.  YMMV.
