Re: SoCal dealers?

Avoid Vasek Polak like the plague (in my experience anyway) Too bad Mr.
Polak died after that nasty autobahn wreck in a new 911 Turbo, would have
liked to complain to him about the absolutely insulting sales staff he
employed. Bad prices, questionable service, limited inventory, high
pressure sales environment...should I continue? I live in Hermosa Beach
(where the dealership is) but will travel FAR on my next purchase to avoid
them (my uncle went all the way to San Diego to buy his 993, it was a Vasek
car that he purchased through another dealer for 10k less! Boy were they
pissed! After Vasek figured it out they offered him the car for the
competing dealer's price...he told them to take a hike, the car was shipped
from Vasek to Pioneer in SD (they also sell Audis) and he traveled all the
way down there and drove it back to Hermosa just out of principle!)

Circle Audi in Long Beach offered me the AAA discount on a 1.8 TQ, I think
the price was about $100 cheaper than the best Autobytel did, can't remember
for sure.

Steve Taub in Santa Monica has a pretty lousy rep from what i hear, also
expensive

Audi of Downtown LA- might give a good price, not sure about service

Beverly Hills Audi- had good prices, but the wrong inventory when I was
looking (over a year ago)

Hope this helps
