How do ya' get those wiper arms off ?

Hi folks...

Think I need to replace the blower motor in my '87 5KCSTQ, but got 
stopped when I tried to pull the wiper arms.  After I pulled the nut 
that holds the arm down, it still didn't want to come off.  Can't 
very well pry on the things.  Any tips/tricks ??

..and yes I _do_ still have that hot start problem  8-p !
