Unintended DEceleration!

Hi gang,

My brother has my old 84 5k that has been giving him fits!

Some background. I gave him the car when it turned 200k. It has had a bad
bomb in it for the last 100k miles. The brake boost unit also leaked all
this time too.

One day his car refused to move. The brakes were self-applied. (nope, not
the parking brake sticking) Since then he replaced the master cyl with new,  
and the booster with used. It began leaking right away. He had also replaced  
the rotors/calipers/pads in front and shoes/cyl in the rear.

He then found some outfit back east that rebuilds the booster for $300
and got one (an exchange unit.) He installed it, no leaks but the self
braking has returned..

He will be driving, sometimes for days,  and the car will suddenly slow and  
soon the brakes will be smoking.

Any ideas?
