Short causing battery drain

I have an '89 200 Turbo 2 WD w/ ABS.  Recently I noticed while running in
the daytime, the light on the ABS push switch was on while the headlights
were off.  The next thing to happen was that my battery would drain
overnight, once running, it charged fine.  I believe the battery holds a
charge except for the short.  Now, when I hit even a mild bump, my ABS
system turns off (as if I had pushed the ABS switch)  it will come on if I
push the button twice, but goes off again with the next bump.

My thought is these are all somehow related.  I have the Bentley manuals,
but just need a bit of a push in the right direction in order to track down
and hopefully fix my problem.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
