CLUTCH & DRIVESHAFT JOB ON COUPE QUATTRO

Well, after 126,000 miles of driving, feels like the clutch is starting to 
go (harder to slip, starting to chatter).  Was wondering what you folks
might have paid for:

a) Clutch replacement
b) Center driveshaft CV joint mount replacement/repair  (figure I'd get this 
done at the same time)

I intend to have an independent shop do the work, but was wondering
how may paychecks I should reserve.
