RE: Battery
Hey guys,
I hate to throw a wrench in the gears of conventional wisdom (hah!)
but don't you think that maybe, just maaaybeee we don't need to be
so anal about battery vents with sealed recombinat SLI battery
technology readily available. I know the germans were some of the
last aboard with this technolgy (the japanese stole it quickly)
---yes I said stole and meant it--.
The recombinat batteries don't really have a path to the outside
for sulfurous gases, only for hydrogen and slightly less so for
oxygen. There should be vewy little of that coming the top too!
I am open to other views on the matter, but I see this vent tube
thing as mute.
