You are absolutely correct.  The article complained of the caliber of
tires.  I've driven an A8 extensively, at its limit (which is extremely
low).  I concluded the same thing...the Goodyear RS-As stink.  My A4q came
with the Continental junk.  The excessive squealing around the AutoX track
this weekend attests to their worthlessness as well.  And the brakes on the
A8 are very powerful.  Some claim they are too sensative...
