Everything was fine with my car until y'all started talking about
starter motors.  The Audi gods heard you, looked around, and said, "Eric
has not had any starter problems with his Coupe....his luck has just
run out."  Last night it started making a nasty grinding sound.

It is all your fault.  Dweebs.

On another note, I saw a Passat wagon with the 1.8t engine next to an
Avant quattro at the dealership.  I hope this doesn't mean Audi will not
bring the Avantq to the U.S. with the 1.8t, because I would be very, very
tempted to buy one.  As for the Passat wagon, aside from the price
($21,800 sticker, no option), I didn't like it.  It does not have the
same charisma as the Avant has; it tends to be rather bland when you see
the two side-by-side.  Still, for the price, it will probably make a lot
of people happy.
