Another lister mentioned that others have had problems with this auto 
trans. Do you know if those problems have occurred on 100Quatttros because 
I do not have one and when I tripped the codes I got a 44444 from the ECM.

Tim, First if a fault is stored in the trans computer the entire display on
the dash will be illumanated. Check the plug connector at the back (under
the car) of the trans. The harness is held in place with a bracket. I have
seen the wires break in the harness at the bend where the bracket is.

Don
