Stone cold dead: redux

I went up today in the daylight to try Angela's car again.
The battery is dead all right, but that's not the problem.

I disconnected hers and "connected" mine with jumper cables.
Once we got a connection, her power went up to 14 volts, lights
etc. are OK. When I turned the key, voltage dropped to almost 0
and the starter just went "rrrr....." once briefly.

Dead starter or solenoid chewing through all the power?
