I have a four to five foot square steel bar that I use to remove and
reinstall the 
ball joints. Put the car on a jack stand, put the bar over the roll bar
and under the 
sub frame and pry down. Sometimes you may have to stand on it, but it
works
nicely. You can re-install them with the same bar as long as you have
someone
to pry down while you guide and tap the bottom of the ball joint back in.
