I think that Audi was the first to come out with pearlescent paint.  I
think I've even read a lister's messeage that indicated that he has an '87
pearl white 5ktq.  I don't think any other car company had anything but
regular metallic and non metallic paints available.  The pearl white seem
to be more noticed on the V8 quattros and then everybody had it.  As
usual, everyone else but Audi will got the credit.  People get tired of me
bringing up technology that Audi came up with long before the others.
They don't believe that a company so poorly rated in popularity is capable
of being so inovative. This is where I fit in.  I take pleasure in
schooling that ignorance with my current and previous Audis by simply
presenting the car's beauty, style, and performance.  People can't argue
if your '8? or  '9? Audi looks just a good or better and performs just as
good better than their new car.  I'm not saying Audi is the best.  No I am
saying that. What else can campare to it in its class?  Nothing that i'd
trade overall anyway.
