Don't know about this one.  I've only used pliers.  They worked great.
Met many people (and worked myself for a short stint) in the industry.
They (we) only used pliers.  I'm not sure what the factory uses.  But,
again, pliers work fine.  And they are REAL cheap.  So are the rings.
