SOLO II Tire ?

What do you think of this deal offered to me on a set of 4 used Yokohama
A-008RSII tires, for Autocross?  
They are four years old and have the wear bars showing.  I think the size
is right...205/55 R 14
I can buy them for $80 incl. having them mounted on a spare set of wheels I
already have on hand.

Are they legal for SOLO II?

I'm new at SOLO II and am not sure of the rules, but I read somewhere that
tires used in SOLO II must be DOT street legal.   
These would be used on my 86 4KQ.  Currently all I have available is my
daily driver Dunlop D60A2's.

I'd appreciate hearing your opinion.

Another question about wheels.  I have a set ow wheels, Ronal 16 spoke, off
a 4KS front driver.  They appear identical to the stock 4KQ wheels, except
they are made for different, smaller lug nuts.  Can I just drill out the
holes to the larger size, or are the bolt seat tapers different?  They look
the same to my eyes, but I'm not sure.
