re: license bracket installation



Whoops! I just realized that the mounting screws are _not_ sheet-metal
type, but are machine screws (about 1 1/2" long) So that answers my
question: there must be a threaded retainer in the bumper. The hardware
also includes a metal spacer (reinforcement?) that is about 1/4" X 1", so I
guess that defines the size of the hole that needs to be drilled to reach
the tappings.
