Wagner makes some... they are called Bright Lights. Instead of halogen gas
inside the 9004 bulb, they put Xenon gas. They claim to be a bit brighter. I
purchased some out in CO last year while at AudiFest '97, at a NAPA auto
parts store. They are a bit hard to find. My local NAPA store (a tiny little
place) doesn't have them. Pep Boys does not carry them. They only carry one
brand (Sylvania/GE), and it's not Wagner.

I have them in my 100S. They do seem to be a bit brighter, but not
significantly so (i.e. you won't be saying "wow... like night and day!!").
But for almost the same $$ as the halogen ones (the Bright Lights were $9.99
apiece), I think they are worth it.

Anyone know of a good place to get them... that has them in stock? I'll
probably get some more while out in CO for AudiFest '98, but I'd rather not
wait that long, if I can get them sooner (especially if local), to put in my
Syncro (which as you all know... are like all other OEM Audi lights...
AWFUL!!).
