RE: Inspections on Dynos...



Here's something to think about: Even in those states that have (and use)
AWD chassis dynos, there are still some cars that cannot be tested.  For
instance, the '92 Ford Crown Victoria had an optional traction control setup
available and there is no bypass switch on the dash ... even though it's
RWD, it can't be tested since the computer won't allow the rear wheels to
spin up that much faster than the non-driven front wheels.  Does Audi equip
its traction-controlled FWD cars with bypass switches?
