Update - Parts Fiche copies

I've had occasion to spend some time with my attorney this week and while we
were taking a break, I asked her opinion about my avocation of making
photocopies of Audi parts fiches available to others for a nominal fee.

Not surprisingly, she didn't think much of the idea. In fact, she strongly
encouraged me to cease-and-desist immediately, if not sooner, and throw away
any extra copies that I have on hand.

Considering the response to my last offer has been minimal, I think it wise
to heed her advice. I have a few Ur-Q manual copies in process and will
finish them up shortly but that's it. The few checks I have for other fiche
copies (80/90q, V8, CQ) will be returned and any credit-card info that was
faxed to me will be shredded.

I'm sorry to pull the plug for a second time but I didn't realize what sort
of fines and penalties I'm facing should Audi ever set their sights on me
... it's just not worth it for what's involved. She also warned that
providing someone else with a master copy so they could make copies
themselves could get me in nearly as much trouble so I'm afraid that's out,
too. :^(
