Re: Update - Parts Fiche copies

Hi Gang:
Well I'm still q-less. As I noted early this week the pearl 90q20v went into
McDonald (Contental as it was know before) and failed famously.
Front end damage...inner support wrinkled badly, head light will not align
correctly, driving lights in trunk shattered, no center (lower grill). Air
conditioning condencer was cracked, no freon. Bomb had failed, the light on the
dash was either disinabled, or burnt out. Oil pan gasket was (is) leaking.
Gearbox is leaking were the shift linkage goes in. The timing belt look old and
would more than likly need changed, with water pump et al...
The owner was not interested in adjusting the price of the car at all, I
think I delivered some not very happy news to him...he seems to know how to
clean a car, not how to mechanically maintain it, but he only has had the car 5
months, maybe he was hoping no one would notice...last thing he said to me
before I got in my car to leave was "I sell you the car for 7700.00 dollars, the
problem are yours..."
Sooo, I'm still looking. After spending most of a day with that car I really
found myself wanting one even more.
If anyone knows of a GOOD pearl (white, red (in that order)) 90 or 91, 90q20v
coupe/sedan let me know, Colorado area would be a plus. I'd like to spend 8k,
would concider 10k if the car were really right with low milage.
