paint scratches/fuel cutoff (actual Audi content)

Two items:

One: I think I'd like to have an inertially activated fuel cutoff. Sounds
like a good idea - who makes the sensor? What cars can I get one out of
(junkyard) - I already know what wire it is going into . . .


Two: Why, oh why does my car show EVERY scratch it gets - sometimes it
seems that all I have to do is look in the car's general direction and
there's a new crop of scratches and chips. How can I fix this? What can I
use to clean this mess up? I've tried fine rubbing compound, and that helps
a little, but I have some chips that go right to the (fortunately
galvanized) metal. Whose bright idea at Inglostadt was it to use white
undercoat so everything shows?? Grr!!
