NG engine etc.

Hi all,

I've just discovered that the engine in my 'new' '87 90q must be one of the
earliest NG-code units- it's serial number NG000071. Build date of the car
seems to be 2/87, also making it one of the earlier 89-body 90s. Anyone
have an earlier unit?

I've also cleaned the interior (previous owner was a heavy smoker) with
Sonax 'odour killer', a German product, today. I've sprayed it on all
upholstery bits. It dries out quickly and leaves a pleasant, neutral smell.
I'll report later on the lasting effect of the treatment.

As an aside- walking from my parking space to work this morning, I saw a
very yellow A4 1.8Tq Avant parked nearby. This car was not exactly property
of an introvert person- it also sported 17" BBS Motorsport wheels and was
lowered a bit. The first time I come across a factory-yellow Audi here.
Wish I'd carried my camera...

Tom
