Re: keyless entry and seat memory
<<we've had the new a6 since last november. both my wife and i have the
remote keychain transmitters and usually the person driving opens the car.
the transmitters, as you probably know, are keyed to the driver seat memory
and each one of us has our own, very different preferred seat positions.
it's convenient and pleasant to open the door and have the seat be *just
right*. so unless the rolling sequence is kept separately for each
controller, we'd be locked out of the car.>>
After setting the memory on the drivers seat I decided I didn't really like
it, so I made some minor adjustments before I drove off. I haven't had a
chance to save these new settings to memory. Every once in a while it will go
back to my original setting but most of the time it remains in the newly
adjusted but not saved version. Once it scared the heck out of me by
readjusting itself while I was driving. I'm sure this has someting to do with
how I use the key but I haven't figured it out yet.
