Well, you clearly have a better Discount Tire than I do. I just went across
to get the 17" wheels balanced and onto the car. Not a hard task, you'd
expect?
[after 20 minutes]
"um... sir... those tires won't fit on those wheels"
"But they already _are_ on those wheels?!"
"oh, you mean you didn't want us to swap them over"
"I want you to swap the wheels and tires over, together, not the tires
alone"
[minion runs into back of shop to stop gorilla from trying to fit 17" tires
onto 16" rims and vice versa].
After another half hour, I notice that they're now putting the wheels back
on. They have the FR and RL wheels on, and are rolling a third wheel between
the two remaining spots (FL and RR), and staring at it.
Gorilla #1 bolted the first two on, and gorilla #2 is now trying to figure
out whether he should (a) put the wheel on to match the work of gorilla #1
or
(b) put the wheel on to match the little "Rotation ->" arrow on the side of
the tire
Remove all wheels, start again, complete with pictures drawn in the air to
make sure the tires are now facing the right way.
