2 '91 TQ's

QList-

After my fiasco Saturday (see previous post), I woke up with a hangover
Sunday and grabbed the paper, and flipped to the auto section. Two '91
200's listed, one a sedan, one a wagon. I go and look at both.

The sedan. Body is silver and in great shape. Interiaor has the blue
cloth seats, and Bose sound system. Parking brake sticks, auto check
was a little flakey, but overall a good car. What worried me: The rear
diff would not lock, and it would only hit 1.3 bar boost. What should
these cars see for boost? I was under the impression they hit about 1.8
bar. Does the lack of boost and the fact the diff wount lock warrent
passing up this car, or could they be simple fixes? The car has 138k
miles, and the guy is asking $8500.

The wagon. Burgandy. Body looked good, but didn't care for the tan
interior. Delta radio (sucked), but has a blau cd changer. No cover
for the back cargo area, the passanger side mirror didn't work, and the
backseat cig lighter is stuck in and on. This car pulled 1.5 bar boost.
58K miles, guy is asking $13.5k.

Niether car grabbed me and said buy me, but both had potential. I need
to decide if I shuold buy another car and fix up the 5k slowly, or just
fix the 5k. Any thoughts?
