RE: Quattro Rapid Accelleration

On my urq one time I had a similar situation, but I was able to get the
stuck throttle to release by tapping the clutch ... which meant that it was
the cruise control ... you might want to turn off the cruise control for a
test.  

Do you have the V6?  If so, dou you have the aftermarket higher flow
throttle body sold by Schaumberg (sp?) ?  There were some rumors that this
throttle body could stick ... if it applies to you you might want to dig a
bit further ...
