Hi David;

    This is a bit of a puzzle. I have had the cluster out of my old '86
5kcstq and my current '91 200q without this kind of struggle. I seem to
recall with the '86 I had to tip the bottom up and remove it bottom first,
but there was enough wire on the connectors to pull it 2-3" from the panel
and disconnect the wiring. The only thing I can suggest is to wiggle the
cluster to determine the point of attachment and examine that area
carefully. Sometimes there is a hidden fastener of some type. The cluster
may have been removed previously and re-attached in a "non-standard"
fashion.
