observations on car design
I've seen the new Lexus on the road a couple of times. Today, I saw one parked
and got a much better look. Seems to me, the design has been changed in much
the same way as the with the new A6. The long lines and the straight edges on
both cars seemed to have been rounded off. When I saw this today I wondered if
car makers have one big meeting every couple of years to decide what the new
style should be and then everyone goes with it. Is the goal to make all cars
look alike? Personally, I have always thought that the classic body shape of
the 4k, 5k and the old A6 said A U D I, just as much as the 4 rings. IMVHFO
(in my very humble female opinion), these new curves make the Audi look way
too much like everything else on the road. (I like the old Lexus better too).
