How to get into trouble ...

Ran down from Hannover to Frankfurt Westkreuz to pick up the A66
towards Wiesbaden - we lived a few miles up in the hills there.

Left Hannover late evening - got to Goettingem and the fog started.
It gradually got thicker through the Kasseler Berge (where the limit
is a thoroughly justified 120kph in broad daylight anyway) and was
_really_ bad on the drive down into Kassel. I stopped at Rasthof Kassel
and rang home: "Honey, I'm going to be mega-late. 30kph or less from
Kassel until the fog clears."

It cleared _completely_ within 1km of the Rasthof, and I returned to
"low flying" speed. Home in around an hour - did _I_ get shouted at
for speeding in fog?

   "Sind Sie gefahren oder geflogen?"
   "Tiefgeflogen"

   "Did you drive or fly?"
   "Flew low"
