RE: after-run fan switch (more)

On my 90, the after run fan switch is located at the back of the valve cover
gasget, and DOES NOT screw into the block. It just screws into a little wing
that comes off the back of the valve cover with 2 wires going into it. If you
disconnect the 2 wires, the fan should NOT come on, and if you bridge the 2
wires, the fan should come on always for 10-15 minutes.

If this is what is wrong, let me know... I went and bought a new fan sensor
for my 90 before I found out that it was not the sensor, but corrosion on the
contacts that were to blame for mine not coming on. So if you need one, i
have one I can sell you, and I will sell it for less than I paid at the Audi
dealer.
