I saw the stuff for sale at the auto parts store that my BIL used to work
at.  Rick said that the stuff has been around for many years, but I guess
some company bought the rights and started mass marketing.  It's been a
while since I asked, but I think he said the stuff was developed by a guy
that built dragster engines back in the 60s.  He said that he worked on a
sprint car team that used the stuff and you could see the difference in
water temps with Prolong, and in the tranny it seemed to help the tranny
last a couple more races ...

I've toyed with buying the stuff, but never have done it yet so I don't have
any personal experience.
