My coupe didn't like the "damp" either (lay off!).  Chronic slightly
rough running when real wet out, ran a lot better below freezing.  I put
new plugs (W7DTC) in a couple weeks ago when my old platinums would *no
longer work!* and guess what?  It runs smooth as can be even in
downpours, and we've been getting them to beat the band.

So I would question your plugs again - and measure the wires
resistance...

You could also of course have a questionable ground or two, run around
with a wire brush, contact cleaner and silicon dielectric grease
everywhere to fix that.
