Audi commercials [Was: Re: Speedvision]
I've only seen one effective Audi commercial, but I think it was by a
dealer...
Start out with a blank white screen. An announcer starts going on about
the safety features of some (as yet unnamed) car--'It was the only car
in its class to get 5 stars as its safety rating--twice.' or something
like that, and the 'V' from the Volvo logo appears on the screen. Guy
says something else and the 'o' appears, etc etc until the last thing he
says, which gets him to the second 'v'...then he says 'and which car was
this?' The 'Volv' is erased and a big Audi logo comes up on the screen.
It was a great commercial, the first one I had ever seen that said "look
we're better than someone else" and it even included Quattro! Only saw
it once though, I believe it was after the second time the A6 got 5
stars.
