Hi folks,

In which cars did Audi install the 2-piece manifold as stock?  I seem to
remember it being a straight swap?  What is a reasonable price for one? 
Anybody have one they want to sell?  Does it effect performance
(significantly)?

I'm in the middle of replacing the exhaust manifold studs (4 broken),
and noticed that the manifold itself has a crack all the way through and
about 180 degrees around somewhere near the #4 cylinder.  My car was
built in 1/86.

My Dad tells me he could get it welded, but I was thinking of replacing
it with a 2-piece manifold (which I've read about on the list).  I've
seen pictures of it before (but can't find it/them now).
