after-run and alarm mods

Q-listers,

As Brett mentioned in his after-run mods, he installed a switch to activate
his injector cooling fan and aux. coolant pump. To tie in two recent q-list
threads, I use a Clifford concept 20 Alarm that has an unbeatable code-hop
protection ability as well as a timed grounded output.

I installed this on my URQ using the timed output to activate the after-run
injector fan as well as the modified Mercedes coolant pump to run for 2
minutes after arming the alarm. A door actuator locks the doors as well. The
system in the car is wired so that the starter will not operate if broken
into nor will the car start if it is hot-wired because the ignition circuit
is also interupted. There is virtually no way they will be able to steal the
car unless they use a flatbed...

The trunk is also unaccessable through the conventional pull lever. The new
pull is located under the rear seat with an actuator from the remote
operating the rear trunk release.

In the event they locate the alarm or battery...there is an auxillary
battery for the alarm and the alarm has memory so it will automatically
return the the mode it was in when disconnected. There is many more things
this alarm can do such as window roll-up, sunroof closure...
