Re: Incomplete Re-fueling

Scott,

Yeah, I just did that, by accident, actually. That's what prompted this
post. I thought the sender was incorrect, but it seems to be working
fine. The float works, as well. You see, when my gauge says I'm out of
gas, I'm out of gas! But when I put in 14 gallons, the pump won't allow
anymore fuel in the car, no matter how hard I try. But the gauge reads
below the second little dot that bracket the "F" for full, however. Does
that make sense? I just pulled out my Bentley and my Haynes, and they
say their is indeed a fuel tank vent line that leads from the tank to the
fueling port. Maybe that's plugged up somewhere. By the way, has anyone
else had this problem before? And are their enough differences between
the Coupes (`81-`83) and the GT's (`84 -`87) to buy the Bentley? I
bought one for my first `82, and I was just wondering if it was a good
investment.

Thanks for all your help!

Timothy
