Glen,At the last Alfa Romeo track day,(2 weeks ago,LRP) on a wet track,
drivers were told if they wanted to run that day that R1's would not be
acceptable.Since the guy thay told me this,an Alfa Club Member,is having
a knee operation today I can't ask him who made the "RULE" the club or
the track.I will find out when I am able to reach him and post the
result.
	The purpose of the original post was to warn drivers that the tires may
not be acceptable under certain conditions. IE: if you drive
any distance and arrive to find a wet track,you should have alternative
tires.
